Hi all, I have a general question. Where do you usually put expense or purchase on the VAT return if no VAT invoice is provided? I think we still need to include the amount in box 7 purchases even we haven't claimed VAT and they are not out of scope. Nina

Hi All, My client is providing services to a related company outside EU. They are not charging VAT based on the recharged clause. Do you think the amount of these services should be included in the VAT return in box 6? I have met different opinions and would appreciate yours too. Nina

Hi there Currently running payroll for a small company, two directors but only one is paid, approx £25,000.00 pa. Under the current rules I cannot claim Employers NI Allowance, but if we were to pay the second Director a nominal amount, say £50.00 per month, would it then be claimable? Thanks Chris

I'm just closing a payroll scheme and I notice that the payments of NI deducted the previous two weeks has been refunded (see screenshot). Must admit to being a tad surprised as the Director is over the secondary threshold in all 3 weeks. If I take out the leaving date NI becomes payable in all 3 weeks....

I understand the two year rule but what if they work under a different engager during that time? The original engager now uses an intermediary. Does the two year rule still apply or does the clock start ticking again?
