When it's time to hand your clients bit & pieces to their accountant, how do they generally prefer to receive it..as excel spreadsheets on disk or hard copies?
Without a shadow of a doubt always give the accountant the spreadsheets on a CD or floppy. This way they can amend the data if necessary and pull off the info needed for the various sections of the accounts working papers file.
Thank you for your reply Sarah..I needed to know as I was planning on buying some accounts software which, as far as I can workout, doesn't allow you to save information to a spreadsheet.
Tis a good idea keeping the accountant happy methinks!
