Sage 50 accounts self study courses
Permalink Closed

Hi there,
Iam currently studying for the AAT book keeping course and am looking forward to taking the exam in june. After completing that I think it is essential to do some computerised book keeping. I found some self study courses given in the sage website ; sage.co.uk .

Has anyone done this course or is there any other computerised course that I could do?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
geeta

Hi Geeta,

I know which self study courses you mean, I have them. I find them to be not as in depth as I wanted them to be. For this reason I signed up to the TDLC (The Distance Learing Corporation)as am with the ICB and did their computerised sage accounts course Level 2 which, came with Instant Accounts.  I found it more indepth and detailed.  So for the price you would pay for the self study courses you could pay just a little more and get a proper course with a tutor.

Hope this helps.

Chrissy. smile

Hi there ssh,

I am studying this course online from the farnborough college of techonology.
If you go to their website www.farn-ct.ac.uk/ you can find their courses listed there.
Alternatively you could go to the www.aat.org.uk website and if you look for the book-keeping course you will find the brochure to download. It is Provided by the BPP. I think it consists of 2 CD- Roms.

As for the study material it is good, well explained. As for me I have no background or experience in accounting, and I still found it very well explained . I did not use any tutor help.

cheers and good luck
geeta
