I'm 25, from Scotland. I'm currently undertaking the ICB Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Bookkeeping. Really enjoying it, and have nearly finished my course. However since having a look around here I've noticed a lot of people offer it much cheaper than the grand I've paid. You live and learn.
I hope to start practising soon. I have next to no experience in bookkeeping. I was the manager of a Credit Union for 2 years and got my hands on some though.
No sure if it's really worth doing level 3, but I would like to do the payroll course but certainly not with my current provider.
No doubt I'll be adding my thoughts to threads soon.

I know what you mean. Only had to phone once so far but there's no friendliness. It's as quick as they can tell you how to do it (and not even why) and get you off the phone for the next call.
I expected a bit of discussion when I called "How are you finding the course?" etc. But nothing.
