I am just looking at a mock exam for the manual bookkeeping level 2 and there seems nothing on here that bothers me apart from 1 thing.this may seem stupid but the question is
Steven paid his golf club fees of £450 for his daughter and these had been debited to the office expenses account and credited to the bank.Explain briefly to Steven why it is so important to deal with items such as this.
Now to me this is wrong as its a personal expense and shouldnt affect the business which it would. It would have an affect on the P&L account.
Is this correct, or how would you explain it?I havent covered this before and just wanna make sure I know what to say
