Hi everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself as I have been "lurking" on her for a while now.

My name is Sarah and I am full AAT qualified member as well as having RSA's (gosh that shows how old I am!!)  in Practical Book-Keeping and Book-keeping.  I am currently working as an Assistant Management Accountant and have been completing my husbands books since he started self employment last year so have recent experience in the financial side of accounts.

I am currently thinking about starting a part time book-keeping business to subsidise my 4 day employed week and being a new Mum would eventually like to drop some more hours to spend time at home.

You all seem like a lovely bunch on her with so much helpful information so I am sure I will be using your wordly knowledge at some point!

Hello Sarah

Welcome to the forum.

I have two small boys as well and have just started working from home so that I can be with them and it is the best of both worlds for me, earning money whilst being with my boys full time.
