Is there a Sage Authorised Dealer/Reseller on here who can help me. I urgently need to a copy of Sage 50 payroll 2009, I have seen a couple of prices on ebay, amazon & other sites but I would like to know if there is anyone here who can help me.
Is it sage payroll you definitely need. I looked into payroll packages recently where as sage charge each year quite a bit for updates there are companies such as moneysoft and 12pay where you pay yearly for the software but it is much cheaper than sage even if you need a bureau payroll ie multiple licences.
Hi Mark You dont have to subscribe to the Sage cover. All it is really is automatic updates for any legislation changes, but you can change these manually yourself. I know people still using Sage Payroll Version 7 without cover and it works fine. You will get support included whan you purchase the software and once it is installed and working correctly you should not need any further support.
You could only change Sage payroll manually up to April 2008 update, when the April 2009 update came out because of changes in the legislation there is no way to adjust manually, I was adjusting manually until then and was annoyed when could not, I luckily got sage payroll update for April 2009 as only purchased sage financial suite latter part of 2008.
Payroll legislation only changed to two Bandwidths instead of three so it is changeable in Payroll Professional but not in Instant Payroll. At the end of the day any new purchase would be 2009 with 2010 coming out in Octiober so it would be good for a few years.
