IAB Exam Results
Permalink Closed

Hi all,

Well, I got my exam results envelope this morning and I have passed my Level 2 so I am really pleased. However, my joy was tarnished somewhat because my results sheet said I was absent for the Level 1 exam I had taken the day before!  I am so annoyed about this as I am not sure whether they have lost my paper. I was the only person sitting the exam that day so goodness knows what has happened. Have phoned IAB who are looking in to it so will be interesting to see how quickly this is resolved. I hope I don't have to sit it again that would be a waste of time.

Anyone else sitting the IAB had similar problems?

Looking on the bright side, however, if I have passed Level 2 I almost certainly have passed Level 1 too. I am now going to apply for my membership!

Hiya

I took Level 1 and 2 in June and was abroad when the results were due to be published. I called them from Cyprus and they originally told me they couldn't give me my results over the phone (I wasn't sleeping due to worry so this was the last thing I wanted to hear). They guy told me to call back after speaking to his colleague which I did and after identifying myself he told me I had gained credits in both Level One and Two. I jumped for joy and he told me my certificates had been sent out and would be at home when I returned. I got back in the country last night and guess what no certificates!  I am now doubting that he gave me the right results!  I will be on the phone to them first thing :-~

I hope you both manage to get your results sorted out. That really sucks

That's so annoying. I will be interested to hear if they manage to sort it out to your satisfaction. I phoned them last Wednesday and they told me they had contacted the college but despite a few phone calls chasing I still haven't heard anything. Apparently the college are being slow dealing with the matter. IAB said there is a possibility they could give me a grading based on my course work but that really isn't the point, I want to know how well I did under exam conditions.

I hope I hear tomorrow otherwise I will have to spend more time chasing.

Leigh
