I am doing AAT payroll, I was recommended to do it by a local accountant and AAT is a recognise name in the accountanting profession. don't know about the other organisations how theres fair and there prices. Give Jane a call at Premier she is very knowledgable and if she can't help she will pass you onto someone else who can.
I am doing it distance learning and go to a centre/college for the exams. You have to be very strict with yourself about your study, I use to be, but sometimes I have weeks were I'm not so good as work takes priority.
I did AAT Level 2&3 through distance learning so am used to the discipline.
Nearly finished level 4, which I have done at the local college. Results for Drafting financical statements and Business Tax exam through on Tuesday, fingers crossed!
Hi Everyone Had an e-mail this evening to say I have past my DNP AAt Payroll, (Yippee!!!!) I am so pleased as I was sure I had failed!!! Came out of exam in December very un happy!!!!

I've been out all evening, and only just switched the Laptop back on and had a load of e-mails and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, I'm still in shock!!!
You have to proved competance in both sections and although I did both sections OK, the first section had abit of tippex on and I thought it looked messey as well, which I know they don't like, so wasn't confident. I brushed up on sick pay as it my weekest bit and didn't have any questions on it, regarding working the days out which was a relief.
Now got to get my head down and study for the Year end bit which I have never done before so am study hard for this bit, as don't want to fail.
Anyway off now for a glass of wine and chocolates hubby bought me yesterday!
Well Done Peggy, thats level 4 isn't it, thats what I'm going to enrol for in September hopefully.
Its nice when you get the e-mail and it says you've passed. I've even checked the website this morning to make sure I have passed as can't quite believe it!!!
Was business tax hard? That was one that I was thinking of doing, am I right in saying there is a choice of units? Can't quite remember what I was told.
There is a lot to remember in Business Tax but if you put in the revision then you should be fine. I didn't get a choice as I'm doing level 4 through the local college but I think you do have a choice normally yes.
