Yes I would agree with Shamus although I suppose 'accounting' is the systematic recording of transactions and 'accountancy' is the business of accounting. I suppose it may all hinge on whether you want people to think you are an accountant, in which case use 'accountancy' or a bookkeeper, in which case 'accounting' may be best. Maybe. Perhaps!
