Not started my course yet,  but building up quite a library.
Including  ...
  • "Mastering Bookkeeping" and "Business Accounting 1 & 2"  (Woods),
  • "Bookkeeping for Dummies"  (Epstein)   (ideal for me!),
  • "Bookkeeping Workbook  for Dummies"  (Epstein),
  • "Mastering Accounting Skills"  (Nicholson),
  • "Bookkeeping -  a Guide for Beginners  1 & 2"  (Maloney),
  • "Business Accounts"  (Cox),
  • "Teach Yourself Sage Line 50",
  • "Sage 50 Accounting 2009 (In Steps)"  (Gilert),
Anything missing,  or anything I should dump ?

Does anyone have opinions on the SCHAUM's outlines "Bookkeeping & Accounts" ?

It's an American publication,  but at £7.16 (post free if you can wait 3-4 days)
on Amazon ... [link]
I always thought bookkeeping procedures were the same there as here.
If nothing else, there is a ton of examples and excercises ("problems").

cheers  biggrin

I think you have purchased too many books. Your course provider should recommend the appropriate text books for your course. For the majority of bookkeeping courses usually one good text book should be more than sufficient.

Steve.
