Free Payroll Software for small employers
Permalink Closed

Hi all

Dont know if anyone has read the February employer bulletin yet.  Employers with under 9 employers can still file paper copies and HMRC have asked for some payroll companies to offer free services and the below 2 companies have agreed to offer this free for on-line filing, they are:

Iris Software Ltd, called Iris Payroll Basics (if the software theyre giving free is the same as their accountancy package then this should be brill)

www.iris.co.uk/freepayroll

Payroo Ltd, called Free internet payroll star

www.payroo.com

I just thought if some bookkeepers didnt want to pay the sage payroll updates (due to being expensive) then this is the way to go..

thanks for sharing this, I have downloaded IRIS PAYROLL BASICS, I will play with it when I get a chance.

Does anyone else use this and how do you find it?

I believe our accountants use Iris at my work so Im going to have a play with it, payslips cheaper as well than Sage. Im always up to trying a new payroll Software and it is good whereas we can recommend small companies to use this for free - of course we could also do it on-site at theirs, sorted isnt it?
