If/when I pass my foundation AAT, would there be any reason to take AAT level 2 award in bookkeeping qcf, or would i just be learning the same things.
I'd like to know more than in the foundation and I am finding a way of doing the intermediate but dont know if it would be better doing the bookkeeping as that is more the area I would like to head rather than accounting.
The AAT bookkeeping is very similar to the AAT foundation so you would pretty much be covering the same material.
Really it's a case of one or the other rather than both.
However, if you feel that the foundation didn't sink in and you wanted to repeat it from a different angle then by all means take the AAT bookkeeping qualification but it will only be reinforcing your existing knowledge rather than introducing any new concepts.
Hope that this helps,
Shaun.
