I'm running a seminar on saturday 'The lapdancer and and tax efficiencies', send her along!

I do the accounts for a couple odf dancers and really things are pretty straightforward on the whole. Strictly speaking 'tips' have to be disclosed and then normal rules apply, i.e. expenses must be wholly and exlusively for the purpose of the business.

Why do I never get clients like that!

Its a bit quiet on this subject on the HMRC website apart from a bit about gifts not being exempt from tax.

I would imagine that the tips scenario would be similar to that for Taxi Drivers so if anyone handles taxi drivers might be worth passing your expenses experiences on to Beccy.

I plan to go to some of these 'venues' to see if I can network with the girls in order to offer my services.

Doubt you will be allowed to claim any of the expenses related to the trip under the 'wholly and exclusive rule' biggrin

Wonder if you can get some CPD points from it though!
