At last after weeks of waiting and a letter gently reminding them I have finally received my Self Assessment agent code from HMRC.

So to those still waiting, it will come eventually.

I got mine through yesterday... but I only applied a couple of weeks ago and they phoned me last monday to check some info and sent it straight out... must admit I was very surprised it was so quick, as a lot of other people have trouble... they must not be very busy down my neck of the woods...

Congratulations to you both

Now all you have to do is make it work online.

Mine kept coming back with errors when I tried to register and wouldn't let me correct them but it gave me a use ID? So I am not sure if it worked or not.

Yes, got mine too!

Now I guess the next challenge is to get the tax return guide so I can do the SA exam and to get my code to work online. Glad to see we are all getting somewhere anyway!smile
