Team, Hi!

Hi there,

I wanted to say hello and thank you. These forums are a fountain of knowledge and information. I stumbled upon the site, but boy am I glad that I did!

My wife and I are planning on starting a book-keeping trade and were looking for information on how to take the exams without a costly course, since my wife has bags of experience but no qualifications in book-keeping and I have experience of managing and business.

Most of our questions have been answered just from reading through other peoples posts here. We also had some good advice from Ideal Schools, which may be surprising since they are in the business of courses yet gave us advice on how to do the exams without a course due to experience. It was nice to have an honest response since it means we are more likely to use them for higher level courses, recommend them, etc.. .. a lesson quite a few training providers I've dealt with could learn from!

So once again, thank you and hello. smile

Hi Ark

Welcome to the forum

I would concur that Ideals Schools are a good training provider, on quality of materials, support and price.

Looking forward to you (and your wife?) adding to our fountain of knowledge.

Bill

Hi Ark,

welcome to the forum, glad that we've been of service without even knowing it.

just to add to your comment about training providers the other one that is raved about on here is Premier Training.

I've only spoken with them the once but they were really helpful without being pushy or trying to sell me anything.

Good luck with your venture,

Talk soon,

Shaun.
