I ordered some letterheads and business cards but can't decide where to post the cost...is it advertise, PR, printing or stationery ( being a start up business i do advertise with letters i am sending to potential customers...)
I got my website up and running (well, still a fair bit to be done) so every opinion more than welcome...

Morning Attila,

Nice site, I find the colour scheme very easy on the eye.

So far so good with the content (I know that you state that this is a work in progress). I'll keep my eye on it as it develops and post any suggestions as they occur to me but for now it seems good to me.

Personally I put the letterheads and business cards under stationary but I can see the arguments for including the cost elsewhere.

All the best,

Shaun.

Letterheads to stationary and business cards to advertising or pr just so that Shaun can have his argument. biggrin

Nice site by the way, uncluttered and professional looking.

Me, argue! Not in a million...

I think that this is one of those where there are arguments in favour of all options so just apply to the one that you feel comfortable with and apply consistently to that bucket in the future.

Thanks for your opinions!

I was looking at it as the first two options would be direct expense (sales promotion) and the other two options would be overheads but with the size of business and projected sales I have got it would make no difference I suppose...

I would always put letterheads and business cards into printing and stationery. I would not necessarily put the cards into advertising unless they had a special offer on them or something.

Oh you pedant Sheila!

This isn't the first time that you've caught me for that one... Then again, Leonardo Da Vinci and Albert Einstein were also dyslexic so I'm not too worried.

Dyslexia isn't normally too bad now that we have automatic spell checkers as they tell me (every time) that my I and E are the wrong way around.

Unfortunately both Stationary and Stationery are quite legit words so I'm figuring that this won't be the last time I get a reminder.

Well, that makes four votes for Stationery (see, I got it right that time!).

Think I've said this before too but it's easy to remember "e" for envelopes "a" for automobiles.
