Hi, I want to complete the ICB level 3 bookkeeping ( Manual) but not sure whether I need to purchase the ICB Advanced bookkeeping book. I brought a few months ago, David Cox, Business Accounts Third Edition for bookkeeping and financial accounting courses. My question is, would the david cox book cover everything I would need to pass the level 3 ( plus a few practice papers as well), or do I need to spend more money on books? Any help appreciated as always. Thanks AnneMarie
just realised, I asked this question already a few months ago, and shamus kindly replied... I've had a months break from it all and too be honest its a month too long and i'm starting to think I've forgotton everything.. anyway, in conjunction with the david cox book and some CAT papers plus a couple of ICB past papers, what other text books should I get... judging from shamus last reply, the KAPLAN ICB one is pretty pants!
I've also been recommended Frank Woods Business Accounting 1. I think what you've got so far is more than enough to take you through the ICB exams. But if you want additional books, then Frank Woods books are highly recommended.
