I have been asked to do a set of accounts for a school. Is there anything different about school accounts?. I look forward to your reply.

Hi Lor,

Is it the school accounts or is it the PTA charity accounts?

I do the PTA Books and you have to send away the form for the charities commission and put the income etc on it. Ours is all on excel and if its over a certain amount you have to send in a copy of the accounts.

Cheers
A

it is for a pre-school, this is the request:

We are a Community interest Company (Pre-School) we need to submit a set of accounts to companies house. I have submitted an income and expenditure
accounts which was sent back they can not use it. We need a Directors report, balance sheet, community
interest company report etc. ....................................................

To me this sounds like a ltd company, I am interested in doing the accounts only and will get my contact to finish filing etc. I don't think its a charity by the sound of it correct me if I am wrong though!.

Hi Lor,

No it doesn't sound like the PTA that I'm involved with because ours isn't filed with companies house, just the charities commission.

I think this is one for Shaun.

Sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Regards
Amanda
