limited company has own website through it selling a products to the market. Is it website a fixed asset of the company or Current asset?

I'd put the cost of setup and administration through as an expense personally, can't see how it could be a fixed asset. As ever could be wrong though.

certain websites are deemed a capital cost.

Generally where the website provides little more that a brochure it will be classed as a revenue expense. Where the website can be used for online retail then it can be classed as a capital cost.

each website classed on its own merits.

Based on the brief points you have made it sounds as if this would be a capital cost. However you should be ok as you will get AIA's dependent on your other capital purchases in the period
