Having done the downloadable and the real thing, it beats the old quill and ruler - it's all done for you and no narrative required!
I found the 2 hours plenty of time to do it in and check through my answers with 20 mins to spare.

Word of warning though: You are being tested by a computer; if there are pence in the question or it's a VAT return PUT IN THE DECIMAL VALUES, EVEN IF I'TS .00.

Good luck with the mock and the real thing.

The new exam is very different to the old paper ones but good. You still need to have the understanding and the format is easy to use and 2 hours is plenty of time to complete and check.

I kind of like the new format. It does help you a bit by giving you a choice of answers for some of the questions. It's a bit like "Who wants to be a millionaire" in that it will give you a couple of answers you know are wrong (50/50). Unfortunately (in the real exam) there is no "phone a friend" as you are not allowed any belongings like that in the exam. And as for "ask the audience" - well, as it is done in the same place as the driving theory test the others are wearing headphones and can't hear you.

There was a couple of occasions when I automatically ruled a couple of answers out and then had a think about the remaining ones.
