B190 Introduction to Bookkeeping and accounting

Hi everyone
I finished this course with the OU early this year and am recieved a high mark, and debated whether or not to register with the IAB for full membership. But in the end I sent off the registration form and my course result sheet and references (they except personal ones) And I recieved my exceptence email yesterday as a full member I am really chuffted.

I think this course may be very beneficial to others wanting to start out.

Great news on your OU qualification and IAB membership. Just wondering how long the OU course took you to complete.

Sorry for the late reply Andrew. Its been manic this end!

I was suppose to start the course in February but the course materials came in December.

There were some hicups with the course materials but I wont go into that.

You have to complete an end of course assesment and get it submitted by April to the OU. I submitted mine in March, but did not get my result until June.

But all in all it is suppose to be from February until April so not long at all. But as I said you do have to wait a couple of months for the result which is sent via email then letter.

I think its worth while if it gains you membership of the IAB.

Good luck with it all should you decide to do the course.
