Hi,

If you register with the IASB they have a couple of things to download(free ones and for monies, too)
The other I could recommend is work- and textbooks from ICAEW, you can order them from Gillards, here is a link, you have to register to see what is available.

https://www.gillards.com/ICAEW/

Hope this helps

Hi Attila,
how are the IFRS studies going?

I'm going to miss this Decembers sitting of ACCA P2 and from next year the UK version incorporates IFRS so I need to pick this up myself (after Christmas now).

If you need another good study text try the International Kaplan text for ACCA P2. Here's a link to the 2010 version of the book on Amazon :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/P2-Corporate-Reporting-CR-INT/dp/1847109543/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284497922&sr=8-2

Talk soon,

Shaun.

Hi Harumafuji,

welcome to the forum

the above link also has a look inside function is you need to have a glance at the book.

what country are you in? If not the UK there may be a different version of the book available specifically for your country.

The Kaplan texts are complex but are very much in workbook type formats.

At your level you may be more interested in the F7 version of the text which can be found at :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/F7-Financial-Reporting-FR-INT/dp/1847109489/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1284498437&sr=1-4

Again you can read the first chapter on the Amazon website before investing in it.

Have fun,

Shaun.

Thank youfor your posting.
I do not intend to be registered any course for now. What I need is to go over any
book for IFRS. The reason why I need the contents of IFRS is that my country, Japan
intend to apply IFRS for listed company in the future.
Meanwhile, is any license test for IFRS in UK?
Regards

Hi,

The course materials we suggested are books you can buy and study yourself without enrolling to any course.

Hi Shaun,

Yes, studies all ok, very busy just recently, business is getting better, a few new clients keep me busy, at work (in employment) busy, too. Weekends spent with attending weddings and birthday parties. So yes, I am ready to take the IFRSSME exam but at the mo. can't afford to pay for the exam, maybe next month. Anyway I am not in a hurry with that one. With CFAB I only want to take exam once I finished with the studies of at least two modules - well accounting I finished- I go for law as the next modul - to see if it really is the thing for me.

Hope you are well, how is things in Scotland? Family ok?
