Hi

I have just downloaded and spent a couple of hours trying out this software.
I see it has got the OK by the ICB
I just wondered if anyone else had tried it and what they thought of it.

I must say I am quite impressed with it.

Shirley

I recently downloaded this too and I am also impressed. I really like the look of the invoices especially when you add your own logo to them. The only thing I don't like is when entering expenses it goes back to the home page after entering each one unless there is another way I haven't sussed out yet.

But overall I like it and its cheap and does multiple companies.winner.gif

Hello Denise

I know this is an old thread, but when you complete the invoice there is a little padlock icon in the bottom left hand corner. When you complete your invoice by clicking 'Save', it reverts back to the blank invoice template.

I have downloaded this to, but not used it yet.
Unfortunately the free time has expired
Still the price of £125 or there about is good if it is as good as u r saying it is.
I am sceptical about anything that is cheap.

Glad to see that it holds multiple companies

If it is so good why is it cheap?

Any thoughts on this.

I have no idea (not very helpful I knowbiggrin), I've used it and find it to be quite good. The forum for Solar Accounts is content rich and Mark answers your emailed questions quite fast. I prefer the interface to QB but I do not like the setup of the PL Account. As reporting is exportable to Excel, you are free to manipulate the information that you have into any format that you require.

Anyone got any other positives/negatives?

Having used it for a few months now.... It is a cheap alternative to something like Sage, but for a small one man band is a useful tool. I find it a better alternative to lots more I have tried in the same (or cheaper) price bracket.

I did have a play with Solar Accounts a while back but, in the end, decided to stay with Money Manager (Business Edition) with the Payroll & Final Accounts modules. MM does not have an invoicing feature but for that I use Sliq Invoicing Plus.
