ICB Level 2 Manual Exam - Results?
Permalink Closed

Hi All,

I sat the Level 2 Manual Exam at Pearson Vue Exam Centre in Chelmsford on Thursday 16 September. At the end of the exam, I got given my sheet of paper stating a Pass Result, but with no mention of the actual grade or percentage mark.  I was told that my actual percentage mark would be posted to the 'My ICB' Section of the website within 24 hours of taking the exam. However, we are now at Tuesday Afternoon and I have still not recieved any update on the 'My ICB' section of the website. Although I am pleased to have passed, I am obvioulsy quite keen to know what percentage mark I actually recieved!

Just wondered whether maybe I should be querying this with the ICB and whether anyone else had waited this long for their actual results to be posted to the ICB Website?

Many Thanks,
Chris

I wonder if ICB have a problem, maybe huge workload increase or staff off sick or maybe a systems/IT problem?

Having passed L2M on 13 Sep I rang them next day to say I wanted to get on and book L3M but couldn't as it is not available to me via the online shop, I was told to wait till result was posted as that would make the L3M exam available to me.

Result was posted 15/9 but to date I still can't buy the L3M exam. I emailed them 16/9 but have had no reply which is unusual, they usually get back pretty quickly.

I haven't chased them up as I'm doing other training+exams in meantime, but I think you should def chase them up, be interested to know what they have to say too smile

I just sent them an email chaser, I'll let you know what response I get, if any.

I sent them an email regarding MLR on Thursday and no answer so far. It is regarding clients, I would need answer pretty fast and in writing, can't risk loosing the client or getting fined because of not following MLR rules. End of the day paying membership and practice licence.
Well, they are probably busy, James is on holiday :)

Hi Attila/Chris,

I got an email reply from Ami Copeland dated 7.40pm, at the end it says "Sent from my iCBPhone". I don't know what one of those is but I imagine her sitting in a bar in Tenerife catching up on emails...

For info, her answer to my querywas that to book L3 Manual exam I have to go through Pearson Vue, not via ICB online shop.

Reading between the lines on James' last post.

Quote:
"I have told the others to keep an eye out on this forum but as this is holiday period for the ICB they will be short staffed.

Take care, see you in October!"

I am guessing that the ICB on run a skeleton staff and have blanket holiday periods.

Bill

Thanks to everyone for your responses to my original post, however, panic over! I logged onto the ICB Website this morning and my result has finally been posted. Looks like its now onwards and upwards to Level 2 Computerised!

Thanks again,

Hi Chris,

Congratulations on your exam result. I also did my Level 2 at Chelmsford, what did you think of the Centre? Do you live in Chelmsford?

I had my pass mark on the paper at the end of the exam. Maybe they've changed the procedure slightly?

Will you be doing Level 3 manual Chris?
