Don't really know what you mean. I use Sage for Ltd companies and sole traders. Can you explain a bit more!?

do you mean in your coa you have directors, shares, etc? in this case you have to modify your coa.delete accounts you don't need and set it up to your needs.

In Sage 50 Accounts, to start off a new set of accounts, you either set up at software installation or at any time by using the Rebuild option in the Maintenance menu.

The software doesn't distinguish between Ltd Co and other type of business when setting up a new venture. Instead you choose what category of business it is (select from list) or you can choose to set up your own chart of accounts (COA) manually.

To tailor setup for sole trader, partnership, Ltd Co, create new nominal records and  adjust the COA as required.

Don't forget context-sensitive online help is available via F1 key.
