ICB Payroll Exam - Format?
Permalink Closed

Unfortunately you still can't order any mock exam paper from ICB, so can anyone give us a heads up as to the exam format?

I'd like to know how much is based on manual and how much is based on computerised? Did you need to use word / excel e.g.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hi Tony

The exam is split into two parts manual and computerised

The manual answers I typed on a word document but I don't think it matters what format is used for these as long as they can be understood

The computerised is geared to using Sage payroll, they send you a back up to install on your payroll software. You then complete the tasks required, run the necessary reports and return them to ICB

Hope this helps and good luck with the exam when you do take it

Regards

Mark
