It looks interesting and exam is through learning provider. I looked at it before, I would go for it if I would have more money and time but I decided for a different path now...
Doing IFRS for SME's certificate and Certificate in finance, accounting and business with ICAEW (ACA). CFAB is the first 6 mods of ACA so if I decide to go for chartered accountancy it will be an automatic entry route plus automatic exemption of the those 6 modules. Just trying to stay open for future. I would be interested in level 4 but if I decide to go further it probably would not give exemptions. AAT takes too long and need a college. CFAB I can study alone, can be completed in a year - well I can't but according to them it is possible, take the exams same place as ICB exams (but cheaper), get the study materials from ICAEW and no restrictions. And if I decide to look for job in the industry ICAEW qualifications are a bit more recognised than ICB. IFRS SME cert. I am only doing because I was interested and to get it in time. I finished with studying it but need to find the money and time to take the exam. It is only one exam but it is £100+vat exam only or for something like 160 you can get course material with it. I did not get that, had my own materials you can download from IASB.
