VAT questions..... will pay for your time
Permalink Closed

Hi

I have quite a few questions regarding VAT and I am wondering if I compiled a list of these questions one of you experienced practicing bookkeepers could answer them for me?

I will pay you your going rate in advance.

I have started working for a company as their bookkeeper and I am out of practice and have forgotten and am unsure of a few things regarding vat. Their next vat return is coming up and I want to be sure about a few things before I file it.

I don't find the HMRC website that helpful or clear to the specific questions I have.

If anybody is interested in helping me please could you let me know either on here or to my email: raychelmc@hotmail.co.uk. I could get together my questions, email them to you and you could give me a price on your time to answers these.

Very unusual request I know but I would like some help from someone experienced who knows what they are doing.

Thank you in advance

Rachel

Rachel,

Post your questions here and you will get the answers, and the bonus, it will cost nothing.

Hi Rachel,

not to shoot anyone in the foot who wants to make a few quid on this but if I were you I would just post your specific questions on here and get them answered free of charge.

Shaun.

Oop, sorry, Kris beat me to it.

Hi Shaun and Kris, thanks for the quick reply, I did think about doing that but as there are quite a few questions I thought I had better offer something in return as I am always asking questions on here but don't have enough knowledge to answer many of other peoples questions. So I might do that thank you

Go on Rachel, just post them, we're all generally bored on this forum, or like me avoiding work.

Why not try a few questions first and see how it goes, you never know you may get a freebie, vat is never so difficult that you need to pay someone.

Just don't tell prospective clients this.

smile It's not though, I knew nothing until I needed to, I took a bit of time to learn a few things, then had an inspection and everything was fine.
