  1. Can anyone advise me with the following :-
  2. when you are posting your receipts to the petty cash account on sage I know that you use Bank Payment so that it will show CR bank and DR expense But if money has been taken to top up your float do you do a transfer from the Current account to petty cash

Assuming the money came from the current account and not from e.g the till then that's how I'd do it.
