I have recently completed B680 the accounting certificate with the OU.  It was the last presentation and I get the results in December.  I know I'll have one resit because I aimed for it as I also wanted or hoped for a grade 2 so I can use it towards a degree  - so that'll be in May.

I am looking currently for part-time work after previously loosing my job but am having similar difficulties to anyone else who has no experience.  Ideally in the future I am looking at doing ACCA, largely as it is recognised internationally. I also wanted a certification that would enable me to work alone when completed if necessary as I have a medical condition called narcolepsy that makes keeping to fixed hours a nightmare.

I was just wandering if people think it would be worthwhile me doing the SAGE 50 certification courses, between doing my resit and now?  I'm aware at the moment jobs are rare and the B680 cert isn't particularly helpful on its own - I know if I pass it I can register with ICB as a member and also have access to exemptions with ACCA and ICMA but until I'm working in the industry you can't officially gain these qualifications.

Any thoughts or ideas on where to go next would be greatly appreciated.
