What does extensions on the invoice mean?

I went through a test, the invoice was incorrect by date, I ticked on the option - "The extensions on the invoice were incorrect" but this was not correct. Please help me - What does extension on the invoice mean?

Hi,

Extensions are the number of units multiplied by the price per unit.
