Quickbooks balance sheet/P&L
Permalink Closed

Hi,

I am trying to work out how to get an itemised balance sheet and profit and loss, the book-keeper before me was able to do it but having looked through the help and a brief spell on google, i can't seem to find it!

Anybody able to shed some light on it?

Using the Free version of Quickbooks SimpleStart, newest version as i downloaded it last week.

Cheers

Nic

Hi Nic,

On QB Pro 2008 you go to reports on the menu bar and go down to 'Company and Financial' and you should have a Bal sheet with Detail. I'm not sure if its on the simle start version. But if its there that will list the items in detail with the figures along side it.

Same with P & L there should be a report which says P & L detail and that will list everything.

If you click on reports at the top and then accountant reports I think this gives you the option for a P&L and a balance sheet (it does on my free version but I did download that earlier on this year)
