I transferred a full back up from line 50 plus 2010 to line 50 Pro 2009 and it wouldn't generate a report.
Does anyone know if it would work if I  transferred a data backup only?

I only ever do a back up/restore of the data only Steve, however it may be that your sage programs aren't compatible if you are going from a 2010 to a 2009 version. Always works the other way round, ie from an earlier version to a later version.

Thanks Rob, it sort of did work then went weird on me so I'll try a data only backup and restore on 2009 from that and see what happens. :)

Hi Steve,

I had similar problem just recently, and I had to download the newest report designer update regarding the software version used from Sage, without this it did not work just randomly.
I don't know if it is related to your problem or not...
