Company Searches Made Simple - unlimited reports

Anyone think this is a good idea? (The flexi unlimited for £200)
Has anyone used this?
I know with Companies House you can go back many years - is it possible with this product?

Hi Peasie,

The £200 for unlimited search is ok but only if you expect more than 100 clients...their basic search is 1.95 what does not include accounts but if it is a client you should be able to get the accounts from them or their accountant. For 4.95/search you can get accounts, too but you still would need more than 50 clients to make it worth. Apart from that if you look at their pricing you can see they offer no, 3 years or 5 years of accounts.
I am not using any online credit/company search sites, to satisfy MLR I don't think you really need it and I got similar advice from ICB,too.

It was partly MLR reasons but more just my noseyness. If in the future a company phoned up looking for a bookkeeper a search of their accounts going back a few years or a search of their directors. Just some general info about them before you actually see them. Now and then I have paid the £1 at Companies House just to be nosey about a company. I thought this offer kind of gave me unlimited access to Companies House details going back many years but I see it doesn't actually give that. Just as well, I'd be getting into stalker territory.

coincidently I have recently looked at exactly the same company. I have used creditsafe for many years now however there charges seem high for the quantity of reports I use. This company seem slightly cheaper if only want to use the 100 reports.
flexible on the reports you can pull.

If I've read it right you can complete up to 10,000 searches per 12 month period. I think for most of us this would be more than enough! Looks good value to me.
