That's the software that I use.

Very good in my opinion. Good value for money, easy to use, wide range of reports. They are also really helpful if you need to contact them.

From £66.00 to £198.00 per annum. Have a look at www.moneysoft.co.UK. I think it looks good!

Previously we had been used Tas Payroll (now owned by Sage). Also a good program, but soooooo expensive now. Swopped over to Moneysoft slightly hesitantly if I'm to be honest as was wondering what the catch was for saving so much money, and haven't looked back since!

Payroll Manager from Moneysoft is the best value piece of software I use. You can download and use for 30 days free. Try it, you have nothing to lose.

The annual cost last year was £110 + VAT.

I have clients which use Payroo. Which is free.

It is a great online package that includes everything you will ever need and online filing at the year end.

I must admit after watching the Payroo demo, its does look quite good and the employee access side is very good.

however with this being free, I being to wonder what the catch is.

I'm very happy with 12Pay, the pricing looks very close to Moneysoft and the software / support is great

Re Payroo

There is no catch. my clients that use it say it is perfect.

I have used it to amend payrolls and it is very user friendly and is definately free.

Thanks

Another feature of Moneysoft is that it includes CIS (& monthly contractor returns).

I've use moneysoft payroll for my payroll bureau since 2003. Best investment I ever made - In all those years I have never had a problem and it produces everything I need without buying any specialist paper etc.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

Hi Joanne

I've just done a search for payroll software for mac, and they listed 4.  All were cloud based!!!

Also interesting from that this thread is that Payroll Manager was £110+VAT in 2011, so in 8 years it's probably even better value for money than it was.

Shoncee, it might be worth buying a cheap laptop and running Payroll Manager on it if you want to do payroll.
