Help - Book-keeping Qualification
Permalink Closed

Hi

Would anyone have a view on whick book-keeping qualification they would recommend? I have an HNC Accounting and and a Batchelor in Accountancy Honours Degree. The objective would be to allow me to provide a book-keeping service from home part-time.

With my current qualification and having worked in different finance roles for approx 20 years would i need to start exams at the lowest level, or would i be able to gain some early paper exemptions?

Thanks in advance

If its just bookkeeping then ICB will right up your street.

You will need to speak to them with regards to exemption etc, but they do offer a home exam for about £45. i hope to do this with my AAT qualification as an exemption.

Hello,

I agree with Paul biggrin

However, you should  try www.bookkeepers.org.uk instead, the other link will work but it isn't the official UK domain and might have some problems.
