Hi Elaine,

Love your posts on UK business forum.  Like your website too.  Nice to see you over here as well.  I don't post much, more of a lurker.  Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome Elaine,

Regarding the different forums, on here if you ask a basic question you will be helped to the answer whereas on the other forums they will do their best to ridicule you. They will argue to prove who is "best" but on here any argument will be to get to the right answer. That's my opinion anyway.

Peasie, you have a point. I've been using AccWeb for about 6 years and have cut back significantly over the last 18 months for the reasons you give. It is much friendlier and helpful on here!

For some reason it seems to be acceptable behaviour on Aweb I cant understand why that is the case. Seems daft to me.

I agree Peasie, I gave up on UKBF quite quickly as I found it too hostile in many ways.

Agree with Peasie

This forum has excellent support network, good community sprirt, folks openly debate accounts related items and folks (both new to accounts and estabilished) ask questions without fear. Long may this continue.

Do you have to be a qualified accountant, as I am not, to join your franchise ?

I am a book-keeper and looking to go into business myself.

No - not for the bookkeeping opportunity.

The link on the bookkeeping page explains it all.
