Hello everyone, I took the computerised level III exam at the beginning of December. Due to really bad snow here I was unable to post the exam back therefore I scanned and emailed it to the ICB. The attachments were labelled 1 of 14 pages, 2 of 14 pages and so on. I got confirmation that the email and attachments had been received and were to be marked.
In January my result came back as a fail with 72%. I was most upset as for the two previous exams I had received 100% and 95% and as I am studying alone could not understand where I had gone wrong. It really shook my confidence. I paid the £25.00 feedback fee and recieved it yesterday. It stated that one of the essay questions was not marked at all as I had not answered it losing 15 marks! The essay in question was on pages 11 & 12 of the attachments. Therefore I can only surmise they did not download all of the attachments even though they were clearly labelled. I really hope that tomorrow when I phone the ICB they will still have my original email and clearly see that the essay question was answered and it can be marked and then hopefully I will pass.
I have posted this on the ICB forum so sorry for those who have now read it twice!

Good news, the essay that was missing has now been downloaded and is being marked. I look forward to my revised result which I hope will mean a pass. I fully understand where I went wrong with the other answers so it is onwards and upwards again. My confidence has returned.
Thank you James at the ICB for sorting it out efficiently.
Also I would like to apologise for my first post being a grumble.
I am glad to hear that you are now being correctly marked. Hope all goes well with your result! I am in the process of completing mine at the moment, so let's hope the weather holds and I don't have any problems!
Hello Lynda, thank you I'm just so glad it has been sorted out and I don't have to resit the exam. I wish you all the best for your exam without any mishaps. Waiting for the result seems to take forever though. Regards Wendy
