Claiming back vat after deregistration

 Hi this is probably my first and last post.I deregistered about a year ago but have recently paid my accountant. Which form do I need to claim back the vat?

Sorry to make you post again, but have you stopped trading or just deregistered from VAT?

Hi Alan

Given you have ceased trading i dont think you would be able to reclaim back the VAT but as VAT is not my specialised subject i will bow to others of greater knowledge.
