Hi,

A quick question, what would you recommend Solar Accounts or VT+ and why?

Thanks,
Aleksandra

I don't know solar accounts, but I do use VT+ transaction for a couple of Resident management Companies, charities and voluntary organisations - as I have the software anyway. (I use VT to do final accounts as the statutory wording etc. is always up to date and it now does iXBRL, which I need for CT returns - unlike other software I will not mention).

I need to provide receipts and statements quickly easily and cheaply/free which I can do using VT+ transaction. Its very flexible and has the facility to "e-mail to accountant" ! I do have 2 clients that use it (there choice not mine) - and checking it is a very easy and extremely quick. It compares well with Sage L50, except its a lot cheaper!

Thanks Frauke for your reply.

I downloaded Solar Accounts and VT+ free trials and to be honest it is very hard to choose, both seem equal to me.
I've noticed that many people on this forum use VT+ Transaction or VT Final Accounts rather, maybe that's the best option...
