I am available for the next few weeks and would be more than happy to help anybody who would welcome an extra pair of hands in their business. I am AAT qualified and have experience
Don't forget you still come under the MLR and need to be registered. If you are offering your services for free you might be able to get free registration with the HMRC, but you would have to resign your AAT membership first.
Hi James, Does this still apply if I am AAT qualified but not a member? I never gained membership due to lack of experience towards it. I thought if I was to be supervised by an accountant/book-keeper I would be fine. Thank you for your advice and its something I will look into.
If you are offering services, for free or charging, you need to have supervision.
As you are not registered with the AAT you could get supervision from the HMRC, I think they still do it for free. See here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/mlr/
