Which software do you reccomend VT Final Accounts or Sage to do VAT returns and Accounts for small companies and sole-traders?

For me it's VT+ Final Accounts.

I don't dislike Sage but it tends to be an overkill with functions that I personally do not use for my clients. It is also expensive particularly if you want multi company abilities.

VT produces a VAT return plus several audit reports, which are readily available at any time.

Not used VT as yet but, as Bill says, price could be a big decider.

If you are used to Sage, it is a bit of a culture shock to use VT+

I initially down loaded the trial version and didn't like it at all but I persivered, and once I got used to it I now wouldn't change it.

If you haven't already had a look Sue, it is well worth down loading the 60 day trial version, just to see what it can do.
