Forgot to mention that you need to check 'Keep Server Record' option, then you will be able to use it as a book-keeping service with a selection of financial reports. It will provide you with a file that you may give to your accountant for uploading into his/her accounts package.
welcome to the forum. Norton states that your site is untested. As it doesn't get the Norton Secured or green ok in google people are unlikely access it so you may want to get that sorted out.
You make the statement that you can just give your accountant the file for uploading but you do not state what the file format is? I've had clients come to me before with files where I've actually turned around to them and told them to go get some proper software if they expect me to load their files onto my system.
Personally I prefer it when clients just keep their records in Excel as that's universaly accepted. If your files are stored in .XLS, .CSV, .TXT or .XLSX or there is an option to store and transmit in those formats then that may be worth mentioning in your statement about being able to pass files to your accountant.
Even if you pass .CSV files the accountant still needs to be able to know how to decode the files. Actually, on a linked thought, I actually receieved a CSV from a SAP extract recently and they didn't think to include column headings. Assuming that your format is Excel compatible might be worth stating what you actually transmit (headings? Table of codes?).
All in all I think that it's true to say, just because software can produce an output file, don't necessarily expect your accountant to accept that file.
Preferable approach would be to first talk with the accountant to determine what format files they will accept and then buy the software based on that.
I would like to give more of an answer to Herry but the posts are too small and they've not really introduced themselves to the forum yet so I for one would not know how to pitch a reply as to whether to advise SAGE, QUICKBOOKS, EXCEL, VT Transaction+, Kashflow, etc. etc. As each appeals to different users.
Kind regards,
Shaun.
p.s. edited because I couldn't spell the word "buy" (doh!)
