I'm currently on maternity leave from my role as a management accountant for a large pharmaceuticals company.
I'm AAT qualified and a CIMA studier, but given the gift of some free time before i go back to work in August i want to investigate whether setting up my own bookkeeping business is something that i could make a go of - perhaps in the evenings or weekend initally until i've established myself.
I've found a wealth of information both on this forum and the Internet, but i think what i need is to actually spend time with an accounting practice or bookkeeper to view first hand the day to day realities of working as a bookkeeper. I live in M22 area of Manchester.
