How is the Acca revising going, must say those old Acca 2002 books you have recommended are a great help in my studying, must say they don't write books like this anymore. Have been learning extended trial balances all weekend, just getting my head around adjustments find this quite interesting and gets the brain cells ticking. Kind regards. Sue

Have been going back though complex group accounts and so far, although most of my workings are ok I haven't managed to get one balance sheet to balance
Really glad that the study text is working out for you. If you do get stuck on anything (sure that you won't) you know where to ask as I'm probably the only one on here with the same version of the book!

Now that you know the quality of the texts the next books on your must buy list are the equivalent BPP texts from 2002 for management accounting.

I went up the Lake District for a few days last week to see family, my cousin is studying Level 3 AAT on the new QCF route, he is using the BPP books for this level, must say do not like them at all, they are small (could fit in your handbag) and contain only the briefest of information, and have quite a few mistakes in them. I think these books must have been written very quickly for when AAT decided to change their qualfication, also they are having problems in the colleges with the CBA exams,computers are freezing when you start the exam, and problems with the software, glad I am not doing the new AAT route.
