Permalink Closed

Hi Everyone,

My client had a small amount to pay on P11D he is a Ltd Company and I use Sage instants.  My question is I've put the P11 D on as a Bank Payment posted to the DLA account but now I am having second thoughts and think its posted to the wrong Nom code?  Can someone pleae advise which nom code it should be on please?

Many thanks

Hi Amanda

Was the amount paid the Class 1A National Insurance? If it was I would post this to national insurance in the nominal ledger on Sage.

If the payment was the directors personal tax liability on the P11D then I would post it to the DLA.

Hope this helps.

Jen

Hi Jen,
I'm pretty sure it was the National Insurance Class 1A so will amend my posting.

Many thanks for your help.
