Just wanted to say a quick Hello as I am new on here, although I've been having a look round the last few days.
A bit about me? Well, I do a bit of book-keeping on a self employed basis after being made redundant last year. Wouldn't say I have a buisness as such, I have a massive one client! But with two little children and trying to do child-minding at the same time, that one client is really enough right now.
So that's all really, hope to be able to take part in some good discussions, look forward to chatting soon.
I'm new here today as well but welcome anyway. It's good to have another Mum on board.
Congratulations on starting your own business, one client is better than none and it sounds like a really good one at that. I'm still working as a book-keeper but hope to start my own book-keeping business in the future.
Fiona, I was taking the mick out of myself a bit and my number of clients, I didn't mean they were massive! As it happens they are rather tricky, directors who don't seem to talk to each other....don't seem to trust each other.... and other stuff. My first client - a great learning curve that's for sure!!!
