I have slowly been taking a look around the new Book-keepers Network site and would like to make a suggestion if I may.
In the Careers & Qualifications area in Resources, the Recruitment section only details the type of companies that we could contact if we wanted to find a job.
My suggestion is, would it possible that a.) book-keepers & accountants could post job vacancies at their business and b.) individuals requiring book-keeping experience could post that they are available too - I know that some book-keepers would be prepared to work for free at the moment to get the experience so that the can at least get started.
No sure how possible this is but I think it would be a good addition.

It's an idea we'd be happy to look at implementing into the site. As you'll appreciate we have a number of new updates in the pipeline so it won't happen overnight. However we'll keep you informed of the progress on this as I can see it being a valuable addition.

This sounds like it would be a good addition, there were lots of people on my AAT course who just could not find a firm to work for - even for free - so that they could build their experience up to either go self employed or to find a job.
I guess this may will take a while to build, but I look forward to seeing what this section is like.
