another good Friday newsletter. Well done to you and the team.
On the bookkeeping awards though how do we nominate fellow posters on here as often we don't actually know things like last names. I appreciate that such is not the norm to nominate people on a forum but considering the link between the bookkeepers network and the bookkeepers forum maybe there should be one.
Alternatively as the prizes are being awarded by the people who run the forum how about a seperate category for the bookkeepers who post on the forum. Personally I know someone down in the South West who would get my vote.
All the best and hope you have a good day,
Shaun.

Responses are not meant as a substitute for professional advice. Answers are intended as outline only the advice of a qualified professional with access to all relevant information should be sought before acting on any response given.
Regarding your first point, if you (or other members) would like to nominate fellow forum users as 'Book-keeper of the Year' this is absolutely fine. If you don't know their real name, we are happy to receive nominations where the book-keeper is nominated using their Book-keepers Forums user-name.
If the nominee gets enough votes to be short-listed for the final three, before announcing the results we will contact the member direct to see if they would like to proceed with the awards and use their real name. If they decide to proceed it will be up to book-keepers, accountants and fellow professionals (of this forum and others) to vote for the winner.
Hopefully this makes sense? Happy to answer any further questions.
